Last Friday was a big day for my older son (as we already discussed, here). He got his unit assignment for the US Army Reserves AND THEN he got his very first job offer. That’s a significant day in anyone’s life. The best part was sharing it with him and hearing the two things any mother wants to hear from her child, “I am happy and I am proud of myself.”
Go get, ’em kid. Indeed, the world is in desperate need of kind, caring, competent, young men to be among us inspiring us with his decency and perseverance one decision at a time. Keep being the man you are proud to be. You will find your happiness there.
